So I bought this dress:
as my wedding dress. I’m going for a very casual, intimate vibe…I feel the marriage is special between just me, my husband to be, and God. I’m going for something a little similar to this:
..except on the beach in Florida.
Is my dress too casual? and what jewelry/accessories do you suggest I wear with it?

I think dress very pretty, exaclty what you are going for. Just add perfect jewelry. For my wedding I purchased my jewelry from http://tstudiojewelry.com/shop/viewcategory.php?groupid=15

It’s pretty casual. I second the sash and definitely a hair accessory of some sort to dress it up and make it a bit more bridal.

What a lovely dress, it’s so sweet and romantic. I would pair it with a gold belt and gold shoes. Perhaps a nice hair piece as well.

Would you be willing wear a short birdcage or bubble style veil? I do find the dress to be casual but you can definately dress it up. I personally love short dresses with veils.
Congratulations on finding your dress! 🙂

@Coral99: Yes, I was definitely thinking a birdcage, vintage-style veil!

@MariahLynn: There was a post a few months ago with a bride who was getting married in New Orleans and she chose a lace jumper. Not a dress. I found it really original and I liked it a lot. If you are going to get married in a jumper, HERS would have been the one to do it in. I admire people who do different things.
I considered a short dress myself but in the end, I chose something pretty traditional.
I think a birdcage veil will compliment it nicely.

It’s adorable! LOVE the back of it! I would dress it up with some accessories and a little sparkle.

I think the dress is absolutely perfect.
I would definitely add a detailed head piece. You could also get some beautiful statement shoes. I saw some today in cream that had silk roses attached at the back and they were gorgeous.
