I can see a partial line but since you said that this picture was taken after the test sat for a while, I’d guess it’s an evap line.  Or maybe, since you said half the circle turned slightly blue, it is a faulty test.  I’d try taking another test.

@Future MrsB:  hmmm, there is definitely something in the second window, but it looks a little funky.  Grab another test and try to get a pink dye test or a digital.  From my experience, and what I’ve seen on the boards, blue dye tests are just a little less reliable.

GOOD LUCK!:)

That looks like an evap line, I think. No way to know until you take another one. Liek PP said, I’ve read that the blue dye ones are less reliable, even though I have no idea why.

The results of HPTs shouldn’t be read after a certain time frame (usually 10 minutes). So, if this picture was taken after that, there is no validity to its accuracy, even if it was a more obvious result in the window.

I’d take another test, snap a pic in the recommended time frame (usually after 3 minutes, but before 10 minutes) and post it here if you see anything! Try it with a pink dye HPT like First Response Early Result.

I do see something, but for the peace of mind, go ahead and take another brand of test. I racked my brain for DAYS and DAYS trying to decipher those annoying blue dye tests during the beginning of my own pregancy.

I do see something, but my guess is an error. But I dunno, it does kind of look like a line.

That’s a tricky one. On one hand, I do see a line, but on the other hand, my tests frequently show up looking like that if I’ve left them for a long time.

Any news? Have you retested?

@Future MrsB:  Aw, so sorry about that. Hope that actively trying does the trick!

Hey girl, so sorry it was a BFN 🙁 I have too been stung by blue dye tests before and will avoid them as much as poss in future to avoid the heartache. Mine was the Clearblue kind where the lines make a cross if you are preg – the vertical line was pencil thin but visible, I thought I was preg but after trying several other tests in the week following got BFNs. Hugs to you & baby dust! x
