Hey Bees 🙂
I am struggling and hope you can be of assistance! I am having a hard time figuring out how to incorporate more color into my wedding. The bridesmaids are wearing a gunmetal gray silky taffeta dress and my Maid/Matron of Honor is wearing an silverish color called Opal. My dress is white with feathers on it and blingy belt. It’s an evening wedding and rather formal.
But right now it just seems so monotone! What other colors can pair with the gray? I don’t like the yellow and grey look only b/c it seems to casual.
Please post pics of your Gray wedding ideas to help me out!!! How else can I incorporate color other than the flowers? See below at a pic of the bridesmaid/flower girl dresses.

I think fuchsia flowers would look nice. Purple would also look nice.

My colors are Gunmetal and Dark red with black and white accents. I LOVE the red with the gray! 😀 My girls are wearing gray dresses with red shoes/accessories and red flowers. Fiance is wearing a red vest with his tux and the guys are wearing gray vests. I may be biased, but I love gray with red!
This is the picture I orginially found that made me fall for the color scheme:

Bright green would be great for an August wedding. Hydrangeas and spider mums will be in season.
Your dresses are really a neutral color so you can use any other color you like.

Shoes seem like a fun way to add a pop of color. Jewelry, bracelets. How do you feel about facinators — could be cool to continue the theme of the feathers in your dress.
I think you can pair almost any color with grey, bright colors look really good with it. Pink or Orange, Lavender could also be nice if you’re going for something more delicate.

I am seeing some dark purple calla lillies! like this:
still very formal looking with a hint of color. You can include some deep purples in your decorating too. Just my opinion!

Yeah…I was thinking about the most common orchid color (sort of fuschia) might look nice. Have not found a pics online though of orchids and feathers…just all white pallettes with the ostrich feathers.

I love blush with those colors. In fact, that’s what I think I’m going to do

deep red or deep royal purple!

We did red, but I don’t know if that is something you would consider for a summer wedding.
