I need some help with the decision on my bridesmaid dresses as I am terrible at this sort of thing! I would like to know what style of dress you think will match my dress without looking out of place. My requirements are that the dresses for my 3 girls are knee length, and I would like to find 3 different styles (that compliment each other and me).
Attached is a picture of my dress. The Sottero & Midgley Sloan and what I am envisioning for my girls is something floaty, flowy, pretty, soft, boho, vintage etc etc. Something like the couple I have attached below. Note – our wedding will be in a small white chapel which is located just off a beautiful blue beach. I think the girls will wear earthy colours like dusty pinks, or beiges, or champaigne etc.
Be completely honest! If you think im going for the wrong style PLEASE tell me as like I said, I have no idea about this kind of thing and I would love all of your opinions!
Also, if you know any good online places I can look? for these type of dresses (or any other type you think might work better), Let me know.
Everyones suggestions and help are so very very appreciated!!!!
Bridemaids (maybe)…if you think they match my dress….

The second one is super cute!

Agree that the first one doesn’t really go–it seems too casual for your (gorgeous!) dress. Honestly, your dress is so glam looking, I don’t know that vintage/boho is the right approach for bridesmaid dresses. If you love vintage, I might go retro in a more tailored old-hollywood fashion, not flowy hippie-chick. But that’s just my opinion!

I think this is from AA and I love it!! It comes in a bunch of colors!!!
Or this from DB which is mine I chose for my Maid/Matron of Honor

While the dresses you are considering are beautiful, I think that they will take away from your dress. Your dress is so romantic and flowy, I think it would be best paired with a complete juxtaposition of structured and simple. This is just my opinion, of course, but I think that a dress like yours (which is to die for BTW) should be allowed to shine with a great backdrop of elegance.
I would would post a photo but I can’t on the iPad, so here’s a link to what I would consider. 🙂
Good luck! And no matter what, that dress will knock em all dead anyway. 🙂
