I am totally lost when it comes to the gifts for bridesmaids, i have tote bags and flip flops, but that is as far as I have gotten. what do I put in these bags??? I was going to buy iron on rhinestones in their initials to personalize the bags. Then maybe a makeup bag with wedding day essentials? a gift card? I wanted to do robes (cute for pictures!) but they are kind of expensive..please please give me some ideas of what to put in the bags! I am on a tight budget but still want to give them a good gift…

We had a sleepover the night before our wedding, so I got everybody matching PJ’s. If you’re all waking up at the same place the morning of your wedding, and you’re getting ready early, that could be a less expensive option than robes.
I also got picture frames, and sent the girls a photo of us after the wedding to put in it.

Get stuff they will use every day. Lip balm, lip gloss, nice lotion, pampering products, slippers, cooling eye masks, chocolate, scented candles. If you can afford it, a gift cert for manicures. Maybe pashmina scarves. There are lots of stores in my hometown that had deals, 2 for $30.

I’m getting a picture frame as well and sending a pro pic later, flip flops, tote bags for the big day, wraps in case it’s chilly, and for Maid/Matron of Honor an in-home facial/spa kit. I love the pajama idea for a sleepover the night before! I think you could also easily personalize for each girl her gift items. I will be getting each thing to match her style and personality. I also wanted to steer away from gifts that can only be used for the wedding. I hate two things: Feeling like bride cheaped out on the gifts (they don’t have to cost a lot but they shoudl be thoughtful), and brides who think that some accessory she wants us to wear for her wedding is a gift. It’s not a gift.
