bluecandy :  you literally cannot go wrong with chicken and waffles for brunch. Literally, absolutely cannot.

I’d add a shrimp and grits option, if your caterer can do that.

I love brunch and I’d be so excited for your wedding!

LOVE this idea, brunch is my favourite, I’d be so excited to go to your wedding! All sounds amazing, including chicken & waffles, possible other suggestions would be an omelette bar? avocado toast? mimosas? bbq beans to go with eggs? mini bagels? I’m drooling at the thought of all this amazing food! My boss makes this incredible stuffed bread with boiled eggs, ham, sundried tomato, olives & cheese which could be an option? bluecandy :  your reception sounds like an absolute dream!!! Even if you don’t add a single thing to the menu you just presented, it’s gonna be perfect! 🙂

Other than the chicken & waffles, the menu reads more like breakfast and less like brunch to me.  Don’t get me wrong, I like breakfast as much as I like brunch, but there is a difference.

Maybe quiche?

yogurt parfaits with fresh fruit and granola?

What about adding some sort of salad? (Plenty of brunch menus offer a salad option)

a savory frittata instead of scrambled eggs?  Or eggs Benedict?

Country gravy! I love gravy with fried chicken and potatoes– and biscuits if you want to add those.
