- Wedding: July 2014 - Barn
Hi Bees! I have 3 songs picked out for the ceremony, one for the processional, one for my walk (!!!), and one for the recessional! We are having a barn wedding and are country music fans, so we wanted something that reflected our musical taste. But my mum keeps saying we should just have instrumental music playing, but that doesn’t really connect with my Fiance or I. Do you think these songs are suitable for the ceremony?
Processional: I Got A Feeling by Billy Currington
Bridal walk: Making Plans by Miranda Lambert
Recessional: Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Any suggestions? The more I think about it the more stressed I get!! I have a feeling I’m doing it all wrong 🙁

My opinion: your wedding, your music style. 🙂 just because your mom doesn’t like it and thinks it’s more traditional to do instrumental music, doesn’t mean that your selections aren’t “right”. If they’re meaningful to you and your fiancé, you’re doing it right!

I love your choices! It’s YOUR wedding – make it personal 🙂
We are also big fans of country music, and our wedding ceremony will be outside (weather permitting), and the reception will be held in a pole barn. Here are our songs:
Processional: When You Say Nothing At All – Allison Krauss & Keith Whitley
Bridal Walk: I Cross My Heart – George Straight
Recessional: Wrapped Up In You – Garth Brooks.
I have absolutley no clue what to use for the reception entrance songs. 🙁
Hope this helped!
