so originally i was going to do chinese take-out containers b/c Fiance and i met years ago when we were both working at a chinese restaurant in town.
But now we’re using a lot of mason jars for decorations and centerpieces, what do you bees think we could use for containers/jars for the candy? i’m having a hard time deciding, thanks ladies!

I think either one would be really cool. The chinese take outs would prolly be cheaper and easier (in that they would take up less room on the table) but if you did mason jars you could make like a custom label for the top which would be cool!

I love the idea of chinese take out containers b/c of the story behind it, BUT, I think it will look out of place 🙁
Since you going more with a rustic, mason jar theme, what about using large mason jars?? Like the ones you get at Sams or Costco for pickles! Or, I’m sure you could buy them. I think this would look really cute since you have the small mason jars for centerpeices and the big jars for your candy! 🙂

@annieAAA …whoops, i can’t believe that i forgot to put i’m looking for containers for the guests to take the candy home in, and i’m thinking maybe they could double as place cards…i love the idea of mason jars but even a small one would be too big for this, or we’d end up spending a ton more then we’d like to on candy
.i think that the chinese containers would look out of place too..another idea i was leaning toward was little pails, i don’t want to have too many mason jars, but i want something that won’t clash
