Hi bees! Can we have your thoughts on these two dresses for my friend? She loves both and they are very different looks! Please let us know which you think is the better choice
and a side by side

Both very different and very beautiful.. Wedding theme? And which one speaks to you?

hi! no theme for the wedding. Afternoon/ evening formal wedding in ballroom venue. October. Both pull at her for different reasons. Price point is the same. I will post additional pic with veil choices!

dress 2 blingy and dress 1 plain (sorry they are out of order here)

She has a beautiful figure! Personally I think the waist is too low on the first one.
The second one looks better but overall I would say keep looking! I definitely like the second one better though if that helps

Both dresses are beautiful, but I agree with pp- the higher waistline of Dress 1 fits better. I do however love how romantic Dress 2 looks, especially with the veil. If it wasn’t cutting a bit low, I’d choose that one in a heartbeat.

I am in the minority liking dress 1. It is more classic and looks really pretty on her. The lace on dress 2 also comes to a triangle at her crotch area which is why I prefer the other dress. Dress 2 definitely looks better with the veil on but I still prefer dress 1 overall.

I like dress 2. I agree that it is a bit low and doesn’t quite fit her chest area. It really fits her figure well other than that and I like the color and lace. I don’t quite like how the lace is in her crotch area, either, so maybe she should keep looking. It think she almost has the right dress.

I vote dress one but with the other veil.

Thye will both look much better after alterations but I think she can do better.

Dress 1 all the way! Although it needs way less boobage, which I’m sure would be fixed with a properly sized dress 🙂

I’m with julies1949 – you could do better

I like #1 if it can be better fitted in the bust. Looks like she’s spilling out. The second has really unfortunate lace placement and seems to highlight the lady parts.

I love beading, but I think the first dress is just stunning! If she has time, she should think about it, go back and try them on again- they are both beautiful (although, I don’t care for the veil paired with dress 1).

I think an A line silhouette with that bling lace detailing of 2 would be ideal. I can’t unsee that V at the crotch. Love that pink undertone of dress 2. I like the clean lines on 1, but love how romantic 2 looks with the veil. With the tight mermaid, the squished breasts, and super low sleeves, 2 is a bit much. Fitting the chest better and an A line skirt should solve the issues with 2
