I have my completed seating chart printed out on 20×24 inch white paper. I’m going to frame it in a textured/vintage gold frame. With the vintage theme, I’m debating trying to coffee/tea dye the paper in order to make it look vintage.
I’ve read tutorials online and they all say to submerge the paper. With my paper being so large, this really isn’t possible. I’ve thought about dipping a sponge into the tea/coffee and wiping it across the paper. My other concern is that I don’t want the paper to curl up when it dries.
Does anyone have experience with this?
I have two printed copies. I figure I’ll try the dyeing and if it doesn’t work, I’ll just frame the other one.
