I would love for someone to help me figure out colors for my spring wedding. My dress will be champagne and I will be wearing vintage light blue jewelry. So, I was thinking of putting my bridesmaids in blue dresses with medium pink/garnet colored flowers. I am all over the place when it comes to colors because I like so many of them. I do not want black or silver/gold. Any suggestions??

@chittychittybanebane:I do like the blue and green. Maybe just leave the punch of pink for the flowers and all other decor blue and green. Thanks for the pics, they help alot!

What about a soft pink and blue? Like so: http://becomingthemrs.com/im-inspirational-moments-6-soft-pink-blue/ or something based off this bout: http://www.creaturecomfortsblog.com/home/2011/3/14/inspiration-daily-03-14-11.html. I think a soft palette would go really well with vintage touches, but could totally work with a dusty blue and a brighter pink.
P.S. I love your screen name. “The Philadelphia Story” is one of my all time favorite movies!

@ckdexterhaven: I think you are on the right track, I wouldn’t stray with adding a lot of bold colors – your wedding sounds vintage… I would stick to the colors within the colors you selected and change tones. Add the vintage ivory and sutle pink hues, you can always throw in a little ivory yellow.
ETA: Also, take a look at some of the “recaps” on here, there are some beautiful vintage weddings.

@BettyKnocker:Sooooo happy you noticed…..great movie and definitely love the whole cast. It was one of those perfect combinations that only happens in the old black and whites, you can’t get any better than that!
