I recently fell in love with the Sofia Tolli Starlet dress in vintage rose/black. Both times I had it on I cried. I’m now torn on wedding colors. I’m getting married June 30,2017 and was about to order my invitations but I was afraid because I might need to change my colors. I always pictured a dusty rose/blush and grey pallet. My fiancé was going to wear a dark charcoal suit and his groomsmen in a lighter grey. My dress has a little black on it ..Can I still do this? My dress is not too pink but I’m not sure of bridesmaid dress colors. Any thoughts or ideas? My venue is outside on a ranch. Going for a rustic shabby chic vintage vibe. I thought of switching to a merlot color but with all the greenery at my venue I didn’t want it looking too Christmas like. Plus it’s a summer/June wedding. Below are some pics. Thanks for advice 🙂 sorry for the 2am ramble but it’s keeping me up now lol.

I’m also wearing a blush dress. I think your dress doesn’t have to have anything to do with your wedding colors. Our colors are Midnight blue and champaigne gold. I personally wouldn’t want the bridesmaids wearing blush since it’s the same color as my dress and I want to stand out on my wedding day. But it’s your wedding and you can do whatever you want!

I think you’re waaay overthinking this! Your original colour palette will be gorgeous and very complimentary to your dress, I don’t think you should change it.
Your dress is just beautiful BTW!

BEAUTIFUL dress (I was also a blush bride). I think either a misty gray or the rose color you were thinking would look wonderful for your bridesmaids.

What about a gray dress with pink or blush accents for your bridesmaids? Kind of your dress colors, but in reverse. The black on your dress is so tiny it reads more like gray to me.

You are totally overthinking. I think your Fiance in dark gray will be perfect! I’d put your BMs in gray (light or dark) or black. I agree with others, that the black in your dress reads more gray. But it doesn’t matter.
I had a blush dress, my Fiance and I both had men and women stand up for us, so I had all the women in black dresses and the guys in black suits. My Fiance wore light gray (he originally wanted dark gray, but long story short, it was light). I loved how it looked.
