@Future_Mrs_Johns:  What about aqua, orange, and red?  I’m envsioning aqua Bridesmaid or Best Man dreses, orange/red bouquets.  And then at the barn – orange/red/aqua tables.

This photo is a mess, but it kinda shows the color palette i’m thinking:

@Future_Mrs_Johns:  i understand what you are saying about the church carpeting (pictures and all) but i wouldn’t worry about it too much.  you will only be in there for 30-60minutes.

don’t pick your colours based on the church carpeting, your wedding is a little ways away and they may completely change the carpeting by then.  by that time, it may be too late for you to change your colours.

pick the colours that you want.  the colours your have chosen are lovely.

I agree with a pp. Don’t pick your colors based on the carpet.

When your guests are seated the only red visible will be the aisle and at the altar.

The aisle can be covered with a runner and flower petals at the sides.

Your dress and your wedding party will cover most of the carpeting at the front of the church.

@julies1949:  +1.  Pick your colors based on what you want, not based on the church carpet.

@Future_Mrs_Johns: agree with PPs you don’t need to worry about the red carpet, I’d still go with the aqua and peach or aqua and orange as @pengoala: suggested. You can team a lot of colours with aqua for it to have a wow factor (I had it with red) 😉 pink and yellow look great too.

I would tone down the red you’re using if you want to pair it with the aqua – for a barn, I think one bright color is best, so you can let the naturalness shine against the brightness of the aqua.  Faded red would tie in the carpet without competing!
