dani03elle:  You could probably make a pretty realistic ticket just using MS Word and varying the size and font of the text. Here are some pretty good examples:

For the colored sections you could add in a rectangle, fill it with the pinky color, then put a text box on top of it and type your words. In the middle that would just be a large text box with no fill and a photo dragged into the center (you could write your names using fancy text as a logo and put that in the background). Hopefully that makes some sense.

dani03elle:  I think they can totally be created using Microsoft word. I saw this post and decided to try to see if I can use tables in word to create them… in a short amount of time, this is what I came up with- obviously there would need to be more time and effort. But i inserted a table and using “merge” and playing with the borders and colors, it wasnt too hard
