Planning a late may elopement just me and the groom, so I picked out some cheap dresses for the day. What sucks is I can’t try them on and I’m an apple shape with smaller chest and “child bearing hips” as they’ve been called. And as much as that sucks I’m also plus size wearing 22/24 jeans. So based on those factoids about me I’m hoping you can help me pick out the most flattering dress. TIA!
Groom is going to wear his navy/black suit that’s why I threw in the navy dress. I also contiplated using aqua as our wedding color and that explains the aqua/white dress. I’m not set on “wedding colors” navy/red or aqua/red yet.
^This my favorite but don’t like the black sash and don’t think I can remove it and I don’t have alterations in the budget.
^Better than the one above but also more expensive :/

I like the last dress the plus size strapless beaded prom dress with satin empire waist.
It is pretty and you should always feel special on your wedding day. But I would get the ivory w/ bone instead of the white w/ black. Because I agree the black sash is not as flattering.
Best wishes and good luck.

My bridesmaid is very ‘applish’. We found that dresses with a defined band around the waist really helped give her a nicer shape.
However, because you have a smaller top half maybe a dress with more detail/fabric up top (rooshing beading etc) would also help even you out.
I think the last dress would be gorgeous.
Are you willing to try other sites?
Do you want to wear an obvious ‘bridal’ dress?

Oh also anything that pulled to the side like this seemed to be flattering on her also!

@Uniquebee77: I prefer ‘bridal’ but with my price range being so tight($150ish) it’s hard for me to find anything.

Yeah I understand. I bought my dress and the bridesmaid quite cheaply from lightinthebox. Mixed reviews about it but it worked for me.
