MomOf3Bee :  Yes. Do not ship until they have paid you in full. If they send an e chèque though paypal, wait until it’s cleared before shipping.

You can add your paypal address in DB and they can click the button directly through diamond bistro to pay you through paypal, or you can send them an invoice to their paypal email from your paypal account.

MomOf3Bee :  I like USPS first class with insurace added and signature confirmation if you want added security. Priority mail includes insurace up to $50, but you still have to add more insurance if you want to it. First class is cheaper than priority and it is only a couple days slower.

Don’t wrap it in a small package either. I usually bubble wrap the item / ring box and put it in a larger box with packing material in it, so that it doesn’t look like it is jewelry.

MomOf3Bee :  Deoending on value and how much i insure it for, I usually pay about ~$25 for about $1000 of insurance.

ETA I always purchase signature confirmation for my protection.

I recently sold a ring on DB and shipped it (8oz weight) with insurance of $700 and shipping cost was around $10.

I didn’t do signature confirmation though.
