If it were me, I’d definitely not go with Uggs. I just don’t think they’re classic enough. I think that wearing black boots is a great idea.

Wow, you are really preparing in advance for your pictures.  Ours are tomorrow, and we still haven’t thought about what to wear…

I would go with the black boots for a classic look, but if you LOVE the UGGS, and they make you feel like you (I feel that way about keens) then I’d go with the darker color.

As comfy and warm as uggs are I think they’re too trendy for engagement pictures. Black boots would be a lot more classic!

Love the UGGS, but I agree with PP that the black boots will work better with your engagement outfit.

I would wear the first set of boots.  My e-pics were in the fall in CO so I wore layers with jeans and then brown boots.

If you’ve never worn boots, don’t do it for the sake of pictures – represent yourself truly. On the other hand, I wouldn’t wear Uggs – a bit too casual & you may regret it years down the road.

I personally would do some really cute flats – like they have on the model. Classic, timeless, dressier, yet casual…and you won’t have heels sliding into the grass in the park! 🙂

    Have fun!

I agree with Mrs Franks – why not wear a cute pair of ballet flats? If you’ve never worn boots before, it might not be a good idea to start with your e-shoot.

Personally, I really like the flats in your second outfit photo.  Why not something like that.  And I also agree with others about the Uggs.  I wouldn’t wear them for these photos.

Classic black boots. The other two pair are too trendy. The Uggs – too casual for this. In fact, take several pair to the shoot.

I wouldn’t buy new shoes and if you really feel comfortable wear uggs but unless its a winter snow shoot I think they’re too casual.  Choose something you already own and not too flashy.

i agree with Mrs. Franks, you should wear something that represents you–and it doesn’t sound like black boots are that you, since you’ve never owned a pair. i think ballet flats would be your best bet, and if you really want you could even bring your uggs along and take a few pics with them.
