I am getting married in a church four days after Christmas. The church decorations (reds and golds) will still be up. I have found my perfect dress, and now I am lost. My bridesmaid will be in black (will have just had a baby 2 months prior). I could use some help with flower, veil, and flower girl dress ideas.
My dress is light gold with ivory lace and pewter accents. I made it very difficult for myself when it comes to coordinating anything else. HELP!!!

I would say next you should concentrate on your other aspects, like a caterer, photography, centerpieces, just do one thing at a time. You really need a timeline or a checklist to really know when to do it and what needs to be done. Or at least it will give you a general idea.

Love Christmastime weddings and…Love your dress! I think you should try on a few of the veils at your dress place and take some pics and ask us here or your Bridesmaid or Best Man. And then get it. At first I thought cathedral but that might hide your beautiful train. By the way, it is good you bought your dress first b/c I think it sets the stage for everything else!
As for flowers: Do you have a favorite type of flower? You can’t go wrong with red roses. They are romantic and go with the season and color. Or Calle Lilly is quite beautiful, and simple and will go. I suggest researching flowers that are in at Christmas and flowers you can afford (some are pricey), and then go from there.
Flower girl- I browsed the David’s Bridal Flower girl stuff online and found something I liked that was similar but different. She doesn’t need to match you exactly.
Think on a central idea you want to carry throughout. Pick a few “musts” and stick with this. Your taste will change, so don’t get too crazy. I suggest keeping things simple, making a decision and sticking to it. And since it is Christmas you can use already decorated spaces. Quite a money saver!
