We’re giving out wine glasses engraved with our dia de los muertos logo as wedding favors. For those staying at the inn we’d like to have their favor in the room with a bottle of wine and olives (we’re getting married on an olive orchard). Any ideas about how we can word a gift tag or something so guests know this is their wedding favor?

Are you looking for like a poem or something? I mean, a simple “Thank you for celebrating with us” might be fine.
I did see in the DIY section someone used this for asking their BMs/GMs but you could change it to:
Even with something old
Our day wouldn’t be complete

Ok more info…not all of our guests are staying at the inn. We want to give the favors out early to those staying at the inn. The other guests would get theirs when they leave the wedding. I’m trying to figure out how to make sure inn guests who get their favors early know they are favors and don’t take another glass after the reception.

You have done us the favor of travelling to attend our wedding.
We wanted to give you your favor early- (the other guests will get theirs at the wedding) along with some olives and a bottle of wine.

I’m finally getting around to printing the cards up.
Anymore ideas? So far I have a white card that says WELCOME,
Inside we’d like to have a greeting…like We’re so excited you could be here with us to celebrate our wedding weekend or whatevs…and then offer up the wine glass a favor.
This is what I have drafted…any additional input???!!! Thanks!!!
We are so happy you could join us for this happy time. We hope your stay is relaxing and fun. Please enjoy a glass of wine on us and accept this gift as a heartfelt Thank You from us to you!
ETA: Should it say, *this gift* the wine glass as a gift expressing a…heartfelt Thank You from us to you?

@BrookieCookie9: Ooooh I like that! Could be great in a program as well. Wish I’d seen it for my wedding!
I wouldn’t worry too much about people knowing/not knowing it’s their favor, they’ll be happy to get anything! They’ll probably be more likely to take it home this way too.

“We are so happy you could join us for this happy time. We hope your stay is relaxing and fun. Please enjoy a glass of wine on us and accept this gift as a heartfelt Thank You from us to you!”
I’m not a fan of using the same word in a sentence twice lol. Like “We are so happy you could join us for this happy time.” and “Please enjoy a glass of wine on us and accept this gift as a heartfelt Thank You from us to you”.
I’m just anal like that
How about, “We are honored to have you with us to share such a joyous time in our lives. We do hope your stay is relaxing and please don’t hesitate to pour yourself a glass of wine, and enjoy sipping it from this heartfelt gift as a thank you from us to you!”
Or something of that sort 🙂 I like to use bigger words I guess lol.
