@Engineers_Girl:  the fb is going to be a bit lighter than the amora moissanite…and then the amora gem will be even more white…if you arent happy with it..you might consider getting an asha as a placeholder? its not a “forever” stone – but if youre using it as a placeholder then it will be a good choice. plus its much less $$$

thats what we are doing..since i am waiting for the amora gem to be released in 2015 or so…

good luck either way lady!! i hope you find something you are 100% happy with 🙂

Did yuo take this photo in your car? That’s probably why! Mine looks almost greyish bluish in the car from all the gray interior. But in the sunlight and everyhere else it looks great. Don’t worry about it!

My FB looks nothing like that ever! Have them handpick your next stone or send this back for another FB.

@CharleighT:  I agree. I tend to have a different shimmer depending on my surroundings. In my bedroom it looks kinda yellow too. But outside it’s clear and gorgeous!

Yeah mine LITERALLY only looks SLIGHTLY grey in my car. Everywhere else it looks amazing. So I guess I didn’t look at the photo long enough but I was originally thinking maybe it’s because your stone is twice the carat weight of mine so there’s more “table”showing on the top. If you’re not happy, just email Mike and see what your options are. He’s the contact person I used and he was wonderful. Let us know what happens! Do you know how soon you’d be getting your amora?

No, it’s probably not worth it if you are changing it out anyways. But I’ve seen some of the new Amoras on here that look really yellow so I would be sure to ask them to handpick the whitest one they have.

@Engineers_Girl:  I have a forever brilliant and for the most part it is WHITE, but moissanites are moody and mine is no exception (though it isn’t often that I see any warmth.) I debated for some time between FB and Amora but ultimately chose FB because of the guarantee from C&C.

@Cosette5:  I agree with you here and have only had my FB moissanite for a month. I haven’t seen any warmth at all and believe it or not….I ordered an Amora last year around this time and actually saw more warmth in it than this FB. I’ve looked at in in overcast weather, sunny weather, in doors, outdoors, you name it and it’s clear and white. I LOVE the FB and plan to order another ‘back-up’ set that is similar but a little different than I have now and will again order it with the FB upgrade over the Amora because it is, to me, perfect. Now, that’s not to say I won’t be ordering the Amora Gem when it FINALLY comes available, BUT I am good for now and FOREVER if need be. Wink
