Hello again,
Thank you to those of you who responded to my last post, it helped me to eliminate one of the dresses I was considering. However, I went dress shopping one last time tonight just to make sure that there was nothing else out there before I made my decision and I found another possible contender. I would really like your advice on which dress you think looks better on me. Luckily, they are pretty similar but I’m not sure which one is the better choice.
Dress #1 (but in ivory/silver instead of ivory/gold– all of the appliques would be ivory and the beading would be silver)

Dress#2 (as-is; no beading, only lace appliques)

I love the beading and applique on Dress 1.

They both look gorgeous on you but I personally prefer Dress #1 (with the silver rather than gold)

Have you thought about putting a blingy belt on the second dress?

I went with #1. I do love #2 though, I actually think I tried it on! But it’s just missing something on the bottom in front. I think the first is beautiful on you, and unique 🙂

The train on the second is really nice, but that would get bustled at the reception. The first has betyer beading and the skirt is prettier.

@bigcitydiamonds: Thanks so much for giving the color change a shot in Photoshop for me. It really helps give me an idea of how the dress would look in silver. Thanks a bunch!

@ycare: If I got dress #2 I think I may add a belt or sash of some sort but probably not a blingy one (I’m not big on sparkle), it would most likely be black (my favorite color) or one with a vintage look. 🙂 I wanted to pick the dress that fits me the best then go from there to see how I can jazz it up if need be. I’m going for a whimsical, romantic look with the dress and my style has always been unique and eclectic.
