So I’m having the bridal party walk down the aisle from the side of the location and I’m going to have the doors open for me and BAM I’ll be there walking down the aisle.
What is a good song for this? I want it to be like mellow, and then when the doors open angels, pretty much sing. I can’t find any songs that match my vision though.
Any ideas? I want something more classical maybe? I’m open minded though.

Maybe a little inappropriate, but what you describe I think of Handel’s Messiah – the Hallelujah Chorus. Buut, again, “Hallelujah” may not be the most appropriate thing to be sung for a bride.

I LOVE that song, but yeah I don’t think it would work.
I’m looking for a piece of music with a short introduction that can be played just before the doors open and I make my entrance. To help to build the drama and excitement, and lets people know I’m on my way so they can get their glasses on or position their cameras. You know?

@PrincessNali: Try the Princess Bride theme song…it has a change in the music about the time your wedding party is at the front and its a gorgeous song!

I’m tying to think of songs that have a slow beginning and have a huge build… but keep thinking of some that are too over the top, like “Can’t take my eyes off you” or ” I will always love you” by Whitney Houston, where it starts slow, and builds into that “bam kick” right when she belts out the main chorus. But again, unless you are looking for over the top, may be a little too much, haha!

Yeah those might be tooo cheesy lol.
Can anyone think of any songs that are mellow, and then a harp comes in (for when the doors open) and the music picks up a little? I’m looking for that harp sound lol.
