What about Rent the Runway? They have some realy awesome gold dresses (and as its rented it’d be budget friendly)

I was going to go with gold but since I’m doing a day wedding I chose blush. badgley mischka gold sequin dresses are fabulous – here’s one that looks like old Hollywood glam to me

Also on my Pinterest I pinned lots of gold gowns I think – Pinterest.com/wallyluvshenry

@sunshine_kar:  I thought so too!! it is rose gold sequins. I’m thinking it may be on rent the runway and often if you contact them they can give you info about purchasing it

Ok people are probably sick of me posting this dress everywhere, but I think it would work so well with what you are after! Pictured here in light gold, and the cap sleeves are detachable ๐Ÿ™‚ Emma, by Maggie Sottero – it has beading all over the lace, so it glitters quite nicely! and the sleeves are very glittery too.

@sunshine_kar:  What’s your budget, and also your size? If you love the Isadora, the same designer (Rachel Gilbert) has a lot of dresses in a similar vein (heavily sequinned/beaded evening gowns). I would recommend buying off an Australian website because her dresses are so marked up in the US, especially on BHLDN. For comparison, I bought my Isadora on sale for $300 including shipping. Her dresses are beautiful and so glamorous, but I choked at the prices BHLDN is selling them for.

You can see some of her current season gowns here, they’re not on sale but still cheaper than BHLDN and it’s worth stalking them for end of season discounts because they get seriously reduced.

If you Google, you’ll see a bunch of Rachel Gilbert stockists and they almost always have sales…and definitely try eBay Australia, there’s a ton of her dresses listed there.
