(Closed) Invite wording: “The J Residence” or “At the J Residence” ?

    I don’t really care for either wording. It seems very formal and stuffy and doesn’t flow. Can you change out “residence” for “home”?

    I think leave it as is.  I don’t agree with PP that “home” would be better, because then you’d have to make the name possessive, and I always find that makes for awkwardness.  But that’s just my personal opinion…
