Hi, I’m researching accessories for my dress and need some additional opinions! I am debating between necklace or no necklace, and if no necklace, bigger, simple earrings?? Not quite sure what type yet tho, as I think big chandelier-type earrings might take away from the details?? Help!

I have absolutely no sense of style. I should make a post like this to help with jewelry. Sorry I couldn’t help you out though!

You have chosen a very beautiful dress. As it is an off the shoulder backless dress, I think a backdrop necklace would look fantastic.

Something like these two would look really nice and not pull away from the gorgeous detail of the dress. I love the idea of a bare neck with the long earrings because you have the detail at chest level. Good luck!

@Nikkole86: I love this.
Honestly, I feel like necklaces detract from more detailed dresses, and I’ve always been in the habit of wearing earrings and a bracelet if even my evening top is intricate, so I don’t know why I wore a necklace on my wedding day. I regret it.
My advice to you since the detail in your bodice is so beautiful is to forego the necklace.

Accessorizing professional here! I would definitely forego a necklace. Bracelets aren’t always super visible on brides, depending on how large the bouquet is, so if you want something a little bigger on your wrist you can definitely get away with it.
If you think chandelier style earrings would be too big, why not a teardrop shape in either clear or gemstone? You could add a pop of color – something complimentary to an accent in the flowers.

I agree with previous posters – a necklace will distract from the beading of your dress. I think a simple bracelet and earrings would look beautiful. I think you could go for long earrings or studs, they’d both go well with the neckline.
