Oh, we have the same wedding date!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Personally i love getting several smaller gifts, so i would prefer the beach bag.

Are you going to give them their gifts before the trip or at your destination? I think the idea of bridesmaid glasses and a bottle of wine is cute, but i don’t think it is a wise idea to take them to your destination. What if the bottle cracks? Everything in your luggage would be destroyed by wine, don’t risk that.

i don’t like getting a bunch of small things, because they usually just accumulate in my linen closet. plus, getting something like lotion as a gift always seems so impersonal to me.

I think one bigger gift would be much much better. The little things are stuff that the bridesmaids could easily buy themselves, and as kitzy said, that stuff just accumulates in my house until I have to clean up and get rid of it. A bigger gift would be a great surprise and it would be something they could really enjoy for quite some time.

I think your three bigger gift ideas are all great, but if you got them the kindle maybe you could laser inscribe on the back a note for them!

I’m actually really personalzing my girls gifts to each individual.  I’d say go more with what would be more meaningful to each of them, which you seem to have done with great ideas.  If I’d have to pic, maybe like the earbuds and itune card AND insulated mug and flip flops for trip.  That way you have something you know they will really use on a day to day and a cute little something they can enjoy immediately during the trip that helps them stand out as very special guests.  I didn’t vote as not to mess with results….lol.

This site had great ideas and so many more choices of bags, etc at better price, which can help keep money on bigger gift/split between both and stll give them monogram bag…also nice gym bags!

Both are great options! I think it really depends on your bridesmaids. I myself LOVE Coach purses, but I know that I can be really particular about what purse I like. Same with the Kindle and the Bose earbuds/iTunes gift card–are they things that they will truly use?

The beach bags look really cute :-). Also, have your bridesmaids been in a lot of weddings? They may have a good collection of a lot of those things already.

Usually I’m all for smaller gifts, but a Kindle is a fantastic choice :). That one would definitely get my vote.

Are you kidding woman? A coach bag over small things ANY day!! They can use that all the time, kindle isn’t a bad idea either but I don’t read and I’m not huge into my iPod so I’d choose a coach bag. But I’m also not one of your bridesmaids! I have to agree with kitzy, small little things would just go into a closet in the guest bathroom or something, I would prefer something I could use a lot! Good luck!!

p.s.-think about going to a Coach outlet so it’s not TOO expensive!

Big gift over small for sure!!! I hate small things – because eventaully they just get tossed out (sorry – but true!). How many picture frames, candles, lotions, etc can one girl have? And even if you spend the same amt of $$ as you would on a big gift – it doesn’t come off that way. So yeah, I think your big gift ideas are all AMAZING, and I would love to be your Bridesmaid or Best Man ๐Ÿ™‚

Depends on your BMs, some people appreciate the thought that goes into smaller gifts and others prefer one big gift. Personall I find smaller gifts to be more useful. With smaller gifts there is a higher chance that they will atleast like and use some of them.

Yep, hands down big over small.

As girls we get soooo many little gifts, the typical “lotions, little jewlrey stuff, knick knacks” so if I had the choice, def 1 big over tons of little. ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree with big over small.  I would get a really beautiful pair of earrings and a necklace that they could wear during the ceremony.  I had a set made with Swarovski crystals that were just beautiful and looked stunning in the photos.  I also gave them a pair of pretty flip flops that complimented the dresses, so they could wear them during the reception if their feet started hurting.

I definately think the bigger gift is a great idea! It’s something completely tailored to them and they’ll use it a lot going forward.  I live in a small apartment, so while those little things all sound great; I wouldn’t really have a place to put the little stuff after the wedding.

PS- I may steal some of your ideas for my BMs ๐Ÿ™‚
