What do you think of these? I’m sure you could convo the designer and get the red part changed to the jade so it matches better.

Or what about something like these, these, these or these?

You could also find a seller you really like (style wise, maybe) on Etsy and ask if they could work with you to custom make something to go with the necklace. Best of luck and let us know what you end up doing/finding!

I really like the ‘these’s’ in the post above, expecially the first, third and forth. I think etsy is your best bet too.

I think plain gold studs would look nice though, im sure you could find some with some nice detail on etsy.

I second the idea of finding someone you liek on etsy and trying to create something togther!

Lovely necklace by the way!

Totally understandable about wanting the necklace to be the focus!  Maybe you can wear some gold studs like you mentioned so the focus stays on the necklace. Or maybe even a simple drop similar to these might work? 🙂

I’m not sure about using a different coloured stone…

IMO I think simple jade studs would work best. Hopefully if you’re looking for something simple like that you’ll be able to find a pair dark enough. These might be worth a try – they’re so cheap that it doesn’t matter if they’re not right!

Or these from ebay:

(Sorry, I can’t figure out how to shorten the links like Lillindy…)

There are heaps of others at ebay – I just searched jade stud gold.

Small earring won’t look good with this necklace. Plus you have a beautiful neck that would benefit from some filigree earrings like these:

You know there are two schools of thought… one is, choose a part of your outfit that you wanted people to look at and sort of dress down the rest. The other school says put the various parts together so that no part sticks out like a sore thumb, all contribute and the final outcome is sheer class.

I think I’ve lived in Italy for too long LOL

(the second school of thought) A lot! It’s like that in everything, starting from food, ending with music by way of fashion LOL

I like how fashionable they are… almost effortlessly (it’s culturally ingrained I think). I also think it’s somewhat normal to go with the first one because it’s harder to get a fashion disaster but at the same time it’s harder to excel in style.

If I were you I’d take pictures of myself with the necklace and different types of earrings. I find it awesome that you are wearing your grandma’s necklace, that it’s green (somewhat unusual for a bride) and that all in all I have a feeling you are going to rock it.

Btw any sneak pic of the headpiece yet? 😉
