Oh I love the acrylic! Those are amazing ๐Ÿ™‚ You could try putting them in the box on top of cute fabric that goes with your scheme? Like tissue paper but classier lol. I don’t know what to do for RSVP cards though… crap I am so uncreative right now..

@MrsNeutrino: Haha I saw it! I need to stop looking at things I can’t afford lol.

You could do just a plain fabric, like a black or white silk? Or I think the black and white striped fabric can look ultra modern, especially with those invites. This is one of the only examples I’ve found…

You could do somthing like that with black fabric and white pearls? I just think the tissue paper wouldn’t do the invite justice ya know?

You put a ribbon in the top of the box and put the response card and envelopes tucked in there.

I loved the acrylic invitations when I was looking, but they were waaaayyyyyy over our budget. Same with the menu cards… loved ’em, but would not spend that kind of money on them.

@MrsNeutrino:  Are you guys sticking with 2012?  Or still postponing?

I still think you should DIY letterpress.  You may be lazy but girl you’ve got TIME!

My only thing with acrylic invites is what the heck am I supposed to do with it after the wedding? I can’t put it in a scrap book with the rest of my friend’s invites from their weddings and I would feel horrible throwing it away. I agree that letterpress would be better, but if you have your heart set on something different go for it.

@MrsNeutrino: I think mirror looks cooler than the acrylic.  Acrylic looks kinda cheap in my opinion (not saying it IS cheap, because clearly it isn’t, but it reminds me of plexiglass at hockey arenas).

Are you guys going to postpose the wedding or are you sticking with 2012?
