Hello funky fashionable ladies! I am wearing blue peep toe shoes for my "something blue". See pic below.
They are dusky powdery blue in person. I had originally planned on paiting my toe nails and finger nails black, or a really dark vampy red, as in the pic below.
But I don’t know if that goes anymore. There’s already a ton of color in my 3/4 sleeve tattoos (sorry, don’t have pics of them yet!), and my dress is ivory.
So what color should I paint my finger nails and toe nails? I was thinking of a blue to match my blue shoes, but then I don’t want my finger nails to be blue. Should I match the shoes or go with an almost-black blue? If I paint my nails, I usually paint them darker colors.
Or maybe I should paint the toes but not the finger nails?
Help ladies! What do you think??

I voted for dark red for both!

I always vote for painting finger nails black! I LOVE it. My nails are currently black. I think I’m going to get mine painted black for my wedding too. 🙂 I think black would go well if you are tattooed to balance out the amount of color on your tats.
Seeing pics of your tats might help too.

I voted twice. I say go with black or red, but definately notice that the model’s nails are very short! I think long nails with black or red would be a little over the top, but I love the vintage-y, dark-inspired look that you’ve found. I think you can totally pull it off! Good luck 🙂

I think no matter what color you choose you must definetly match finger and toes! The color of your shoe is so cute. I’m looking forward to see you wearing them with your dress.

I think you should match both hands and toes – I voted for the dark red!

I said paint both black. However, I personally would love black finger nails and red toenails, but vice versa could work with your shoes. It’s your wedding, anything goes!
