I really like Amelia. I don’t think that the “eel” sound will be too much in the way. I think it will be cute when she is younger, but as she gets older people will focus on the sophisitication of the name Amelia. That’s my vote! Good luck!

I think Amelia is nice, but doesn’t work the best with your last name. Someone in linguistics or speech therapy can probably tell me what I’m trying to say lol, but it’s two similar but different eeeeel sounds, that make it a little…..harder? to say.
So I vote Sadie, I think it’s cute for a little girl, but still a great name as she grows!

Aurora! Amelia is trendy and Aurora is just so beautiful. But I’m a hardcore Disney nerd so there might be some bias :P. She would be a princess! I’ve always loved that name.
I don’t like Sadie for a human lol. I know at least 10 dogs with that name, including mine.

Thanks ladies! I’ve never, ever known a dog named Sadie and I spend a lot of time in dog parks :). It must not be common here. I know plenty of Henry and Charlie and Gracie dogs but no Sadies.

This!!! I’m having trouble with Amelia with your last name rhyming kind of funny. Sadie is also very popular name for dogs around here as well. When you said Rory, I thought that sounded great!

I also absolutely LOVE Rory Wheeler.

I really don’t like the way Amelia sounds with Wheeler (she will be called Amelia Wheelia her whole life) so I voted for Sadie since I have a hard time wrapping my mouth around Aurora.

That’s what I’m worried about, too 🙂 It has sort of a Julia Goolia way about it 😉
