I need your help with my Fresno Dress. I always was not sure if the top of my dress isn´t a bit too boxy. I love seeing the sweetheart necklines on other lace dresses here on weddingbee. I was talking to the seamstress now and she would be able to change the straight neckline into a sweetheart neckline. She would also be able to keep the lovely lace detailing.
I am not quite sure if I should to it. My sister told me she loved both and another friend of mine said I should go for the sweetheart.
I need your help as soon as possible as I have to decide until Monday morning as my wedding is only about 2.5 weeks away from now. I tried a little photoshop but I couldn´t rebuild the lace detailing.
Thank you so much!

I think the sweetheart will give you a more defined and femenine look, I’d recommend it.

Just based on your photoshop, I would go with the sweetheart neckline. I think it looks beautiful, and if your seamstress is able to maintain the lace detailing, it will look even better!!

The poll is added.
Thank you so much bees for your quick reaction. I am battling with this thought about 2 weeks or so I am just nervous as I cannot go back to the original once it is done.

In the pictures the sweetheart looks really nice. I always thought I would want sweetheat too but when it came to trying on dresses with the sweetheart neckline I hated the boob crack that it gave me. I went with lace dress that was straight across the top with pieces of lace coming up.

I really, really like the sweetheart.

I am typically partial to sweathearts myself (in fact I am having my dress altered to a sweatheart). But in this dress the lace is so pretty and I love the way the straight neckline looks on you (I can’t pull of the boxy look, too boxy of shouldars). I say do what you want, but I like it the way it is.

SWEETHEART! I did the same thing with my Justin Alexander dress and LOVED the sweetheart, it made me feel so feminine and romantic 🙂 Go for it, I guarantee you’ll love it!

I think it looks beautiful both ways, but reading your post, it sounds like you want sweetheart. Follow your instincts- it will look great!

Sweetheart. It’s a lot more flattering than a straight neckline (on everyone)

I would not touch anything this close to the wedding. It looks gorgeous as is. What if she screws up?? Accidents happen, and I would prefer not to make any changes to things that are already fine as is.
