I am exactly 6 months out from my wedding date, we have all of our vendors booked, so to an extent we are in “hurry up and wait” mode. That being said, I want to start getting things together for the reception such as toasting glasses, cake cutter and such. I have looked far and wide online for a checklist of “day of” items that need to be purchased but have not been able to find anything. Can anyone help out a clueless fellow bee..pretty please? 🙂

Bridal emergency kit? That kind of thing? Or actual stuff for the wedding and/or reception?

@gcassioppi: Here’s one. It’s a little annoying because it’s a slide show with the “things” in the notes, but it has good reminders.

Actual stuff for the reception and ceremony.. I’m honestly just afraid I am going to forget something big.

Hmm… let’s see. You’re right, I can’t find a good list anywhere! I think a good place to start pulling together a list of must-haves would be an online shop which peddles reception wares:
The problem with browsing around to see what you need is that you might convince yourself that you actually need all of that crap! 😉

@gcassioppi: I’m a few months out and in teh same boat. I’ve been making a little list as I think of things:
Getting Ready: food/bev/snacks for me and bridesmaids, emergency kit with supplies, handkerchief
Reception: entry decor, card box and gift table, signage for gifts/favors/etc, small purse to have at table with makeup and essentials, bathroom baskets with emergency supplies, flats for dancing (just incase), guest book or photo in frma eand pens for signing, cell phone charger, emergency snack (power bar) in case I dont have time to eat enough
I am a horrible over planner so I probably won’t need most of the stuff I am bringing, but i’d rather be safe than sorry
