No, that's silly - he'll be waiting at the end of the aisle as he should! : (19 votes)

Every Jewish wedding I’ve ever been to has the parents walk the groom down the aisle as part of the processional. We did it too and I think it was a sweet moment.

I’ve seen it at weddings where the groom and his parents walk down the aisle together – it’s a sweet thing.

That said, we won’t be doing it. We don’t want to take the chance that my Fiance might accidentally get a peek of me in my dress before I’m at the end of the aisle with my dad. So, he’ll be standing up front waiting. We’re both really looking forward to that moment 🙂

Fiance is walking down alone. He wanted his moment to shine too.

My Fiance will be walking down the aisle with our officiant who also happens to be a very close aunt of his.

My sister recently just got married and her husband is the type to make a grand entrance. He entered with a bag piper so it turned out to be pretty cool.

The last two weddings I went to just in the past month the groom walked both his parents down. It was actually very sweet!  His mom gave him a big hug and kiss and the dad a hand shake man side hug thing.  We would do that but his parents arent together anymore.

We walked down together and it was beautiful 🙂 My husband surprised me the day of by telling me that I’d walk down halfway alone and then he’d hook arms with me 🙂 I thought it was great!

I wanted him to walk down the aisle and escort his mom to her seat but he wanted to already be at the altar (not walk down the aisle) but because we were having an outdoor wedding (all he’s seen is church weddings) that wasn’t a choice to just pop out the back! So he walked down the aisle alone (he wanted to walk down with the best man but wedding planner wouldn’t allow it).

@PrincessBride27:  Pretty common here (Mexico), that’s what we’ll do. He’ll walk with his mom, since his dad died when we was 10.
