- Wedding: September 2011
Me and my fiance are getting married on 9/17/11, and are starting to nail down all the final details. We are on a very tight budget, and are trying to keep the costs down to a minimal. The venue where we are having our reception has mirror tiles and votive candles we can use, which we plan to. Here’s what we’ve been thinking (see picture): 3 cylinder vases with submerged orchids (synthetic) and a floating candle on top, on top of the mirror tile with the votive around it. The tables will have black tablecloths. What I am trying to figure out is a way to incorporate our other wedding color, which is David’s Bridal oasis (a green-teal color). This color is very hard to match exactly. The only other thing in our reception that will have the oasis color are the uplights. Any suggestions? We thought of spending the extra $$ to buy some oasis table cloths and doing half black tables/half oasis tables. Also, any ideas on jazzing up this vase? Or should we leave it simple as is? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
