ok bees, I need your opinion on a few things concerning my reception. Fiance and I have decided to have our ceremony and reception at the farm I grew up on yay! So excited!
Here are my questions… we are thinking about doing a 7 or 730 pm ceremony (late next May, or early june) and having a heavy appetizer reception with stations (Italian slider, Chicago slider, and standard slider) with a mashed potato bar as well as a lot of veggie, fruit and cheese plates. The whole thing will be laid back (prolly around 75-80 people max) and like a slightly more formal backyard get together. Our table set up will be in a U formation with long tables. My question is should i still do assigned seating?
second question: we aren’t doing a traditional bar with a bartender. We are putting all the booze on ice in a big metal trough thing and people are free to take what the want. This includes antying non alcoholic. Here’s my question, since I want to do a mason jar that will double as an escort card and their glass to drink with all night would it be a waste if we were having bottles of booze already and don’t do a seating arrangement??
