- Wedding: September 2011
We’re getting married September 17th. It’s cold here in Iowa and Fiance is dead set on having outdoor E-pics (which will be April at the earliest). We originally wanted E-pics for the Save-The-Date Cards but I’m worried we won’t have enough time to send them out. Apparently (I’m recently finding out), September is a very popular wedding month and we’ve already heard about several other weddings around our date. I want to make sure people are aware of when our wedding is … soon.
I originally made STD #1 with our dog’s photos (some of you may remember it). It was more “cute” – the first dog asking, “Did you hear the news? There’s going to be a wedding!” The second dog replies, “What’s a wedding?” and the other dog responds, “I don’t know but you better SAVE THE DATE.”
Fiance didn’t like that one, so I made STD #2 which consisted of the same back side as STD #1 but it had general photos of us together. He doesn’t like the general photos and wants to use E-pics (problem is…won’t have them for quite awhile).
So I scrapped the previous two ideas and made a generic STD w/out any photos, STD #3. It’s completely different than the first two (front and back) but does not have any photos.
What do you ladies think? Fiance can’t decide … he still wants to wait for E-pics but I just don’t see the point in sending out STD’s so late.
