I had horrible luck with tanning this summer. I intentionlly was careful so that I wouldn’t wind up with strap lines, but a really bad sunburn with a X back swimsuit did not help! I have an X in the middle of my back. Its blended in a little more, but still obviously there. I also have straplines from wearing spaghetti strap tanks. I’ve been trying to even it out through tanning lotions, but it’s not working and I have 4 days left.
Has anyone used a spray tan before? I really REALLY don’t want to look orange or unnatural on Saturday. What brands of self tanners are good and won’t make me look like a clown?

i am very fair skinned and got a spray tan last month (it was not mystic tan or tanning booth…but someone who airbrushes you) and it came out great.
I explained to her I didn’t want to look orange but justa slightly tanner version of myself. I loved it!! I plan on doing it again for the wedding 🙂 good luck

Hi! I hd this exact same problem four days before MY wedding, which is why your post caught my eye 🙂
I used Jergens instant bronzer over the white spots–had my Darling Husband rub it in the lines. Let that set, then after a few hours, apply all over. I have had a spray tan and you can look orangey..its a risk. If you got it TODAY, it would fade enough that if it looks awful, you would look fine. What they told me at the spray tan place was to do a very good scrub and dont sweat or shower for 4 hours after.
Here is my after picture doing the jergens trick-I had 2 diagonal white lines from a tanning bed down my back!!!

I second having a spray tan done by a professional. Im a HUGE advocate for this– because they’re able to distribute evenly. Also– they’re pretty reasonable priced if you shop around a bit. Since you’ve only 4 days– be careful to not use any tanner in your skin the day before or day of the wedding– even though it is dry, it can still rub off on your dress +clothes. I had my tab done 3 days before the wedding, and it gave it time to wear off a tad and look very natural
