Darling Husband and I are in the process of designing or thank you cards, and I’d ove for your opinions and advice! We are planning on doing post cards, which we thought would be cute since we had a destination wedding. Has anyone else done post cards for thank you cards?? My only concern with this is not having enough room on the back to write our message (they will be 4″ x 6″)…
Does the “from the new Mr. & Mrs. Baker” part sound funny, or rude? I don’t want the “old” Mr. & Mrs. Bakers (e.g. DH’s parents, aunt & uncle, brother & SIL, etc.) to be offended… Maybe I am way over-thinking this!
Below are the 4 designs we’ve come up with. Any comments or critiques are appreciated!

I love number 1.
Some bees hate close/kissing photos and while Im not all that into kissing photos, ones where their faces are close together/looking into their spouses eyes are always my favourites 🙂

I really love #3, it is so sweet.

I think #3 is really cute!

I love number 1, I think it’s beautiful.
I really like the thank you font and I like the photo – great combination.
I don’t particularly like the line “new Mr & Mrs”, which doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use it. I think that it’s only you and your husband are in a place to know how what his family would take it to mean.

I like 1 and 4. I am one of “those bees” that aren’t into kissing photos 🙂

I like the fourth one, because you can actually see your faces – and I am also one who doesn’t like the kissing photos much. (Plus, he’s grabbing your butt in number 2– I wouldn’t want to send that to my grandmother…)
I think you are way over-thinking the “new Mr. and Mrs.” part, and I think it’s fine to use.
You may have trouble with the space on the back being onlty 4×6, plus needing an address spot if you’re truly doing postcards. The other option is to use all of the space and mail them like regular mail in an envelope.

I love #1!! I’m about halfway done with my thank you cards and I did 4×6 greeting cards. I would not do postcards because you will not have any room to write. I’ve been writing about 3-4 sentences and there’s no way you could fit more than 1 on a postcard. I think hand written personal notes are a great touch, so I would spring for the greeting card. I got mine on http://www.overnightprints.com for $25 for 50 cards (with a picture on the front and back) and envelopes.

The wording sounds reasonable to me!
