I really like the first option, it looks the most polished

sammi11jo:  I really like the 1st invite. I think tweak the italics to a more classic italic font. If I can find the name of the font, I’ll let you know as I’m currently on mobile device @tm. Will check on laptop when I get home.

sammi11jo:  Also, the quote. Perhaps make that prominent, too. Same font as your names but smaller font size.

Hi!  I love your first one!  If you are looking for a free graphic editor that is wonderful for high-quality (print-worthy) .pdf’s and has some awesome fonts, I recommend http://www.canva.com.

I designed my entire suite with it, and individual watercolor graphics purchased through Etsy!

I would use spaces between your text, separating the most important parts of the invite, like so:

Together with their parents

Name and Name

Invite you …

On Saturday…

Near the banks…

The second block of text after the names looks a little squashed. I would use line breaks or different fonts/sizes to add a bit of contrast and call out the important details.

Both options look really nice but the capitalization after every line break is really distracting. Longer lines of text with capitalization at each section, not each line, would look better.

josephine16:  Agree… if the next line is a continuation of a phrase from the previous line… ditch the capital letter at the beginning.

I really like the overall look of the first one 🙂

I like the 1st design but I like the font you used for the quote in the 2nd design. Also, I wonder what it would look like with the quote in the mist among the mountains. And maybe space above “Reception to follow”. Can’t wait to see the finished product. You’ve done a great job designing your own invitation & map 😃

The latest design (#3) is infinitely better than the others! It’s very crisp and clean — and the most legible!! The only changes I would make are:

1. Together with Their Parents (no comma)

2. No bold in the names to match the “I’ll vow” font

3. as they begin “their life’s journey together” (one line) I just think the break is a little awkward.

4. “on” it’s own line then the date/location below

5. Maybe use a & instead of “and’ between the names?

(But it’s hard to say without actually seeing these changes!)

Love the latest design! I think it just needs one extra image, maybe the mountains along the bottom? just the mountains, i think it would just finish it off but I am much preferring the fonts and the cleanlyness of the latest one! Designing your own is so hard! We’re trying to do it too and keep changing our minds!
