erinsews :  I think if it’s not what you expected, get it changed now. Because it will most likely bother you since you wear it all the time. The jeweler is willing to change it, so I say have them. By the way, it’s an absolutely beautiful ring!!

Hi bee. Congrats! On 1st glance I thought what a beautiful and secure ring with the side stones enclosed. But….not sure if it’s just the pic but on closer inspection I noticed the bar across the center stone isnt straight. And then I see the side stones aren’t the same height either. If you want it redone have all these other issues addressed at the same time. Overall it’s a beautiful piece. Just needs some tweaking.

I think it looks fine with the closed baskets! I wouldn’t have even thought twice about it if you hadn’t mentioned it. I’m assuming it makes the side stones more securely attached too? Personally I wouldn’t change it.

Tough call. I think it’s gorgeous, and it sparkles like mad! I say sit with it for a bit, and if it does wind up bothering you, at least you know it can be changed.

It is a gorgeous ring. Love the pear stones. I think the setting for the pears give it a very clean and modern look. I would leave it as is if it were my ring. Congrats!

Just wanted to say its a beautiful ring and congrats on getting your upgrade! My three stone ring with round and pear stones also has the pear baskets closed and I find I rarely have to clean the side stones because of it!

Just something different, what bit night look like with open baskets and a cathedral setting. I have a 3 stone, all round. The two smaller stones have 3 prongs, so take a more pear shaped appearance:

Hey there, I believe your ring looks nice the way it is  but if the basket hinder shine, then I’d consider having it changed. Mine is like below, I could say that’s half open hehe.

Just 2 days ago, I looked at my ring one of the side stones were yellow. I was like wtf? As I didn’t really inspected the side stones before I thought one of them was a different colour (not f like the rest). Turns out it was dirt, and I wouldn’t get dirt underneath if it was closed basket, it was kinda hard to get it out too. One thing to consider.
