Hi there ladies!
My DH and I are expecting twins in the near future (currently going on 33 weeks) and we had all of our combo’s picked out since we don’t know the sexes. Our top boy name which we basically based all of our other choices around was used this week on my DH’s 2nd cousin’s new baby boy. We are seriously crushed about it – he wants to still use it but I feel weird about it so am working on finding a good replacement.
The name was Oliver. Our boy combo was Oliver and Everett. If anyone can think of a good boy name replacement that has a similar “feel” as Oliver I will love you forever 🙂

What about Elliot or Owen?

@MrsAMac: Orrin or Oren would match the same kind of feel?

Your husband’s second cousin’s baby? Don’t pick a replacement. Use the name you love and already picked. It’s fine.

Second cousin? Ehhh…I would still use it if you love it. Just tell them you already had names picked out, which you did!

Bowen! It’s my top boys name…behind it is Baylor. Love those two names together. I think they complement each other.

@MrsAMac: I second Hudson!

Owen would be good. Or what about Orion? I’ve known 2 people with that name and I really like it.
Although really, just stick with Oliver. Your husband’s second cousin once removed has that name? Uh, who cares.

I’d stick with Oliver. I have two first cousins with the same name and it causes no issues.
