So I’ve accidentally purchased a Diamond White Veil that cannot be returned. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Veil, but my dress is stark white! I can’t seem to tell that big of a difference, but my girlfriend brought over her white veil that she wore with her dress and when comparing the two headpieces it becomes apparent one is darker than the other. Do you think my guests will notice?

I think it should be fine. Usually as long as the veil is the darker of the two then you should be fine.

I have a DW dress and I could tell the colour difference btw colours when I had a white veil on.
Could you just borrow your friends veil (it could be your something borrowed ;-))

Have you seen it with your dress? My veil is darker than my dress and it actually makes the embellishment pop.

Ya I have seen it with my dress, I could only really notice a difference when I tried on a white veil vs the diamond white. When you lay the veil against the dress, it looks a touch yellow. But when it’s in my hair I’m not sure that it’s a big difference?

I don’t think they’ll be able to tell if you don’t mention it to anyone. At a good friend’s wedding a couple weeks ago, the hairstylists put her veil on upside down. I was the only one she told and if she hadn’t pointed it out, I wouldn’t have even noticed it!
A piece of advice given to me as I’m planning my wedding is “don’t fret the tiny details. 10 years down the road, no one will remember if ___ and ___ didn’t perfectly match!”
