What about the church for the ceremony and another venue for the reception? As a guest, I would totally be willing to drive a little bit between the two places to be able to dance.

As long as you don’t have any personal feelings against dancing, I have to say I definitely think it’s worth the extra. People are so happy at weddings they just want to dance it out! And I think you would later feel as though you missed out on that special first dance and the bride/dad groom/mom dances as well.

Yeah I agree, see what doing the reception will cost at some places.  The thing that most guests will say about a good wedding is the music (for dancing) and the booze.

I agree as well people love to dance at weddings and have a good time.. Maybe you can find something that meets all your needs and dancing involved for everyone at a reasonable cost.

Is your wedding day or evening? If it’s during the day, your guest prob won’t dance. If you want to dance, maybe half way down the aisle, just stop and start to dance–what can they do at that point?
