clarkattack:  I do think you can ignore the floor of your church and the outside of your venue. Neither of those are going to be prominent elements in your pictures.

You could look to berry colors as a theme from which to draw your color palette.

My wedding is in May and I’m using a peacock theme, I just love bright colors. I agree ^ the color of the floor and the venue aren’t going to be what everyone is focused on but at Davids Bridal they have some beautiful metallic bridesmaid dresses that are rose gold and silver maybe you could base your colors off of that if you like that kind of thing?

Do you have a picture of your venue – you can either embrace the color or lighten it up. I think a lot of different colors – both spring and winter – go with a redish background.

This one incorporates ruby red with a soft lavender, ivory, and a soft pink.

This one is ruby, gold, soft pink, and maybe a soft biege/gray color

This one incorporates ivory, a moss green, light pink and a red color.

This one you can incorporate a soft blue or a darker blue with red.
