Well if you can’t decide…you could go for a rainbow theme! Or for Memorial day, red white and blue? Different jewel colors (fuschia, royal blue, purple, etc – my SIL did that for her May wedding)? You don’t have to pick just one or two!

I would start off my clicking through Perfect Palette. http://www.theperfectpalette.com/. obsessed with all her color boards.

Next – tell us a bit about your venue. With a summer wedding, you have a lot of options. Do you know what color dresses your BMs will wear? That can help guide too. With the colors you named I would do a “jewel tone” look that pp mentioned (no offence) only because I think it’s too dark for summer, I would instead go with maybe a “wild flower” type look. Here are some ideas:

Design Seed is fun too! Here are some i found there. I’m having way too much fun with this btws.

Hope that helped!

@bridgetdarling:  I am going with a hot pink and turqouise, but my flowers are CRAZY! I’m going totally non-traditional!

Where are you getting married? What colors will be surrounding you. It’s OK to wait until after you’ve picked the site to pick the colors, in fact it’s better than redoing your colors to match the site or spending $$$$ to make the site and your colors not clash. After that something will speak to you. You can wait until you decide you must have pink peonies or a red accented wedding dress or whatever has a definate color aspect worth repeating.

Of course I have a little bit different philosophy about these things. I think that it’s more importaint to have a theme or a mood than a color. I know that sounds wierd but you’re picking the colors to create an atmosphere, so you should know what that atmosphere is before you limit your color pallet.

@bridgetdarling:  We’re using The Special Event Florist–Her name is Tina Barrera. She’s AWESOME. I told her my budget, and she really did her best to work with it. Our flowers are going to be beautiful! She’s been in the business for 15 years, and she does around 50 weddings a year! She’s busy, but she’s good! You can find her on FB. She works mostly by referral! How did your appointment at Blossoms go??

@bridgetdarling:  For cakes, I think we’re going with Suzie G’s in O’Fallon, MO. My friends have had their family cakes made there for 10 years! They’ve had Suzie’s make at least 40 cakes! No lie!! Lots of family members…haha.

Anyway, glad to hear that the appointment went well! I LOVE your dress!! It’s SO pretty!!!

I went on my first appointment today…see my post about it. Sad story…and I’d like your input! It should be under my profile in threads that I’ve started.
