It’s okay – you ahev time and you know what both your choices are great. They sound beautiful!!

As for the flowers don’t worry so much about this, that’s what the florist is for. Go in and tell them what your thinking, and they will almost always put some stuff together for you to see. You could even get pink in the boquets and have both your colors in there. You’d be amazed what flowers look good together! All you need to know is the colors of your wedding and the florist will do the rest.

Maybe just call a few up today and explain whats going on, ask how they handle showing you samples, it sounds like it would take a weight off your shoulders!

As for the colors together – you best bet is to find a dress you like and find out if you can get it in those colors. I know Jasmine B2’s line has a lot of color choices so maybe google them. It would be a shame to land on a dress color and not be able to find it – this way you can get color swatches in the shades you’re thinking of to help you make your decision better.

Take care!

Hi. Sounds like you are using the same color scheme as I recently used. I did chocolate brown Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses from J. Crew and added sage sashes. They looked great. Flowers were a little tougher, and I ended up doing all white flowers with lots of greenery and flowers that have green in them. It looked really nice and the simple color scheme looked formal.

I think chocolate brown with sage green will look great!  Pink flowers would definitely go well with that colour scheme.  You could mix them with white, or use all pink flowers.  You can also get some flowers in pale shades of green such as hydrangeas and pale green roses, and also green chrysanthemums.  These all look really nice mixed with white or cream flowers and would go great with your brown and sage green.  As for a dark room, I personally would opt for sage green or white table linens to lighten things up but gold might be nice too.  Hard to tell without a photo.

You have 2 very good color schemes.  I am thinking that if your wedding is in June, you want it to be fun and colorful….Pink would really pop the location being that they have wood panels, a pop of a bright pink would be very trendy and fun, you can still make it elegant and tastful.  The Bridesmaids can wear a chocolate brown, or a shade of pink…..remember all pinks dont need to be the same, as long as you keep to the same pink tone, you can then use a range of pinks from light to deeper tones.  Also the chocolate brown on the bridesmaids with great pop of pink flowers, would make beautiful pictures.

If you want sage and chocolate you can do flowers in the neutral whites and creams with foliage, very elegant.  you should google bouquets so you can see the different types of color you can do……"the knot web site has lots of real weddings and you can look them up by color scheme.

(i know this is a lot but color is my forte, i am in fashion so this is a great topic!)  have fun with your colors, dont be afraid to play with different shades and hues of  things….remember that all these elements will not be that close to each other so no one will notice, they will just get the feel of coor throughout!  Have Fun!
