Hi there, Bees! I am needing some help! I want to do wooden box centerpieces with various items in them. My helpful father, fiance, and my fathers best friend have already agreed to make them, which is awesome… also, the friend is a woodworker by trade, so I trust him completely with this project!
The question is, I want to have some of them with fresh flowers inside them. Obviously, I can’t put water in a wood box or it would leak all over. I was wonder what anyone else had tried, what worked, or if anyone had any ideas!
I was thinking that an automotive rubber undercoating spray would work, but not sure if it really holds water? Also, just a plastic liner, but I don’t really want to purchase separate liners that don’t fit. We’re going to need to do quite a few of these (probably 32) so something economical would be preferable! Thanks for your help in advance!
