JUST got my ring a few hours ago and in the store lighting it was breathtaking. The SECOND it hit natural light it was the UGLIEST yellow I had ever seen. It looks horrible. I just cried. I went to a restaurant after, and a lady even asked me if I had a yellow diamond!!! My jeweller is ordering me a Forever One in a D ( not sure what that means) but it’s apparently colourless. Is this true?!! I’m freaking out. Please help!!!

alanacarpentet : I’ve never seen a yellow ForeverOne Moissanite so I’m sure that will fix the color for you! ForeverBrilliant Moissanite is sort of a toss up, but it’s recommended you enjoy some warmth in your stone, or at least that you aren’t color sensitive, if you pick the FB over the F1.
Any pics of the yellow looking one you have now??

alanacarpentet : Was it a forever brilliant? That could be why it’s got a lot of colour. You could also be quite colour sensitive because plenty of ladies and bees own a forever brilliant and loved the colour it gave out. A Forever One is as white as a moissanite comes at the moment and apparently is very white. If you are after a white stone then it’s a good choice and shouldn’t have anything to worry about.

alanacarpentet : maybe they sent you the wrong stone? I have a diamond so no idea how the mossies act, but a “D color” should be completely clear with no tint or color

Forever One is their most colorless collection. D-F color, so colorless. โบ Moissanite will take on color from its surroundings though, something you should know since you seem very color sensitive (not a bad thing).

You’ll love forever one. No yellow at all. I originally purchased two stones, one fb and one f1. I returned the fb. Below is a pic of them next to each other.

Thank you guys! I barely slept last night worried about it. It is gorgeous under Regular lighting, but in the sun it’s the worst colour I have ever seen! I’ll take photos to post today when the sun comes out. Our engagement announcement party (no one knows we are engaged besides our parents) is this weekend.. So she’s going to put a cubic stone in just so it’s clear and not yellow until my new stone comes. I have a forever brilliant. I will be getting a forever one D

Gosh! How devastating!! ๐ If you’re considering forever one, I say go for it! I just got mine and I couldn’t be happier with it; no yellow at all! It’s white as white can be (believe me, I’ve been ceaselessly looking). The only thing it does is reflect pastels sometimes which I LOVE…. This is the only sort of “moodiness” I’ve ever seen. Pic example:
this is on the beach at sunset. Hope this helps! ๐๐๐

alanacarpentet : Aw : / I am sorry bee that sucks! The warmth in FB is not for everyone and will definitley show more color with fancy shapes. The Forever one is colorless as can be, bright white so I am sure you will be very happy with it!
Here is my F1.

My jeweller for the time being until my forever one comes, put in a cubic stone. IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. Not nearly as sparkly, but no yellow. Now I can at least wear it and not have people ask me if I have a yellow diamond. You ladies are amazing!!! My new stone should be in early next week, and I’m really hoping I like it. I believe I’ll be nervous until I see it in the setting.

Top is with the cubic, bottom was with the pee yellow stone. It doesn’t look too yellow here, but knowing it was yellow I can still see it.
