@missjyc — I just bought the first shoe in red! I think it’s gorgeous, but waiting to get it on the mail. I also heard it’s not comfortable, but since I’m only planning on wearing it during the ceremony (in Brazil, girls switch to flipflops for the reception), I figured I’ll suck it up. I’ll probably break them in at home though.

These are a little shorter, at 2.5 inches, but they are so cute and extremely comfortable. Seychelles ‘Trip the Light Fantastic’ in yellow.

Have you thought about buying dyeable shoes and having them dyed. I bought mine from http://www.myglassslipper.com they are called touch ups and they have shoes in all sizes and designs for all budgets. I found a place that dyes shoes near my home for only ten dollars and all I had to do was give them a matchng swatch from my bridesmaids dresses.

why are they so scarce!?
I had the same problem and I searched hi and low for the perfect yellow shoe. Even went as far as calling Shapes Bride magazine because they had a yellow shoe pictured that I had to have (page 80) Well I ended buying the second Nina’s you have pictured. They are even more beautiful in person, but yes they are not comfortable. I solved that problem with some Petals foot cushions. I am a 2 dress 2 shoes Bride so they should last till the first dance.

I loove the 1st pair of Nina’s you posted. I’ve only seen them in red but I love the yellow! I say get them – just break them in. I usually throw on 2 pairs of FI’s sport socks & wear the shoes around the house… works everytime! Hah! 🙂

I have the J.Crew Carmen shoes in Saffron and I LOVE them! I found them on ebay and even though I haven’t worn them for an extended time yet (saving them for the wedding), they seem to be pretty comfortable!
