Not sure if you have tried this already or not but what if you change the paper setting for your printer?

I would go to Staples with a sample of your paper – the one by us has a printing help expert who can do test runs on different printers for you before you buy!

ETA: We sent our invites out at the 6 week mark and no one thought anything about it. You still have time, don’t worry!

I would say take it all to Kinkos or Staples and just get them to print it for you. If you’re contemplating spending the money on a whole new printer, just get someone else to print it for you and if they have issues, then they have to fix it and you don’t get the headache!

I would have thought laser printing would be best since it doesn’t smudge as much. I have an HP Photosmart that worked amazingly for my invites, but I didn’t have a shimmery paper, just  flat cardstock. Maybe try some a printer with photo capablity and set it for glossy paper?
